Senior HW Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed validation test plans and methodologies to achieve comprehensive coverage.
• Create test cases, environments, and automation scripts using Python.
• Utilize hardware and software tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and traffic generators for testing.
• Collaborate with design, DV, Analog, and Firmware teams to debug and root-cause issues.
• Work with Operations on bench screening and high-volume ATE functional screening.
• Document test plans, results, and validation coverage reports for stakeholders.
• Develop scripts and web-based tools to automate validation, FW QA tests, and diagnostic data collection.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in silicon validation, specifically with high-speed networking SerDes and mixed-signal/analog/digital ICs.
• Knowledge of PCS and PMA networking layers.
• Hands-on experience with the debug and characterization of high-speed interfaces such as CSI-2 or Ethernet.
• Expertise in Python scripting and general test automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in GUI development for hardware and firmware debugging.
