Senior HW Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and develop functional hardware architectures based on system and product requirements
• Perform schematic design and capture, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable designs
• Drive PCB placement and layout guidance to meet performance, signal integrity, and cost targets
• Select and manage Bill of Materials (BoM), balancing performance, availability, and cost
• Conduct hardware simulations including signal integrity, power integrity, and EM
• Support design bring-up and troubleshooting of hardware prototypes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, manufacturing, and validation engineers

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in board design and development
• Strong expertise in schematic capture tools and PCB design flow
• Proficiency in Cadence design tools
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT)
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
