Senior HVAC Chiller Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, and cooling towers
• Diagnose and repair machine and equipment defects involving electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Oversee installation and operation of various mechanical systems
• Lead the development of training materials and tools for the chiller/HVAC maintenance business
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and safety equipment
• Provide detailed documentation of services performed, including measurements and serial numbers
• Coordinate services with customers and provide updates to dispatch and management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training
• 5+ years of experience in chiller/HVAC maintenance or mechanical engineering
• Electrical knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in diverse conditions including extreme weather and high voltage environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computers

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification
• HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer credentials
