Senior Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Tier 2 HR matters including employee relations cases, performance issues, leave matters, and policy application
• Assess risk, urgency, and complexity of HR issues, escalating high-risk or Tier 3 matters to the People Business Partner or Director
• Provide practical guidance to managers regarding sensitive matters such as investigations, terminations, and return-to-work plans
• Apply HR policy and jurisdictional requirements consistently across colleague and manager queries
• Manage operational HR requests requiring professional judgment, ensuring accurate documentation and records
• Partner with HR Administration and other specialists to ensure coordinated support and seamless handoffs
• Build effective relationships across the People Success team to provide timely, practical support to stakeholders

Requirements

• Tertiary level qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
• Hands-on experience managing employee relations and operational HR matters
• Strong working knowledge of employment law, policy interpretation, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills in a high-volume environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coach leaders
