Senior Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal regulations and union agreements across the business unit
• Lead recruitment and selection processes for both operational and indirect personnel
• Monitor and analyze key HR metrics such as turnover and absenteeism
• Prepare and process payroll for hourly employees, including overtime, absences, and leaves
• Manage employee relations and support overall personnel administration
• Coordinate and oversee external and internal service providers
• Act as a key HR partner to support operational needs and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR operations role
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll processes, and union environments
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR metrics tracking
• Intermediate level of English proficiency
• High level of empathy, interpersonal, and communication skills
