Senior Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate hiring for contingent and short-term project roles
• Manage hiring logistics including offer documentation, background checks, and employment paperwork
• Coordinate visa processing for international employees and work with immigration attorneys
• Facilitate onboarding and manage high-volume offboarding for employees completing short assignments
• Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws, wage, tax, and employment requirements
• Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now and generate HR reports
• Update and maintain the company employee handbook

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5-8 years of HR experience
• Experience supporting contract, contingent, or project-based workforces
• Familiarity with multi-state employment practices and employment laws
• Experience managing onboarding and offboarding processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with visa or immigration processes (H-1B, OPT, etc.)
• Experience in industries with project-based staffing such as consulting or technology
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
