About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate hiring for contingent and short-term project roles
- Manage hiring logistics including offer documentation, background checks, and employment paperwork
- Coordinate visa processing for international employees and work with immigration attorneys
- Facilitate onboarding and manage high-volume offboarding for employees completing short assignments
- Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws, wage, tax, and employment requirements
- Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now and generate HR reports
- Update and maintain the company employee handbook
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-8 years of HR experience
- Experience supporting contract, contingent, or project-based workforces
- Familiarity with multi-state employment practices and employment laws
- Experience managing onboarding and offboarding processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with visa or immigration processes (H-1B, OPT, etc.)
- Experience in industries with project-based staffing such as consulting or technology
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
