About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytic projects, from defining problem statements with HR stakeholders to delivering production-ready solutions.
- Build predictive and prescriptive models for talent use cases such as attrition, internal mobility, and recruitment scoring.
- Design and operationalize NLP and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for resume parsing and employee feedback analysis.
- Implement reproducible ETL, feature pipelines, and model training pipelines using CI/CD and deployment patterns.
- Apply statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and causal inference to ensure reliable and defensible results.
- Produce actionable visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and drive business decisions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and ensure all data products adhere to governance, privacy, and ethical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
- 5+ years of experience performing statistical analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis algorithms (e.g., machine learning, NLP, text mining).
- 5+ years of experience writing and using SQL.
- 5+ years of experience in Python or a relevant scripting language.
- Experience with Business Intelligence and data analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience delivering end-to-end analytics and deploying models to production in large enterprise environments.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, tree-based methods, clustering, and applied transformer/LLM techniques.
- Experience with modern cloud platforms and tools like Spark, dbt, or Airflow.
- Familiarity with model lifecycle tools (MLflow, Seldon) and explainability tools (SHAP, LIME).
- Knowledge of de-identification and access-control patterns for sensitive HR data.
