Senior HSSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSSE programs, standards and policies
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses
• Lead investigations into HSSE incidents and near-misses using root cause analysis
• Monitor compliance with HSSE regulations through audits and inspections
• Develop initiatives to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability
• Maintain HSSE documentation including safety plans and compliance reports
• Supervise the development and maintenance of emergency response plans
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSSE practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in an HSSE engineering role
• Experience within the oil and gas industry or a similarly regulated sector
• Fluency in spoken and written English
