Responsibilities

  • Proactively assess risks to workers and develop actionable recommendations to reduce risk
  • Develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, work instructions, and checklists
  • Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and report on key HSE objectives and metrics for management
  • Facilitate incident investigations and lead root cause analysis efforts
  • Plan and assist with compliance audits and self-assessments
  • Serve as a key liaison with external agencies regarding HSE issues
  • Coordinate and participate in HSE training of personnel
  • Maintain and update relevant HSE documentation at worksites

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proven technical knowledge of Federal and State HSE rules and regulations
  • Direct experience with hands-on implementation of HSE policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Ability to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship
  • Ability to pass a background check and participate in drug and alcohol programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • University degree
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OHST
  • Experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment
  • Experience with electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) or heavy industrial operations
