Senior HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and programs in compliance with OSHA, UAE regulations, and Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and promote safe work practices across all project activities.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO standards and client requirements.
• Monitor environmental impacts, waste management, and pollution prevention practices.
• Oversee subcontractor HSE performance to ensure compliance with legal and company procedures.
• Prepare periodic HSE reports, including safety statistics, inspection findings, and performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, with at least 8 years of experience specifically within the UAE.
• NEBOSH or OSHA certification.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) HSE or Engineering certification.
• Proven experience with incident investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on GCC projects within the healthcare, residential, commercial, hospitality, or institutional sectors.
• Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and professional auditing.
