Senior HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors implement and follow approved HSE plans, procedures, and legal requirements
• Proactively identify project risks and communicate necessary controls to mitigate them
• Develop and implement an effective HSE proactive monitoring program, including joint inspections and audits
• Participate in HSE incident investigations and ensure statutory reporting requirements (ADOSH-SF) are met
• Review and manage project HSE monthly reports, including KPIs and statistical trending
• Evaluate and manage the HSE behavior and performance of the principal contractor to foster a positive safety culture
• Generate, review, and approve project HSE documents such as risk assessments, method statements, and enforcement notices
• Chair regular site HSE meetings and ensure minutes are distributed to all concerned parties
• Ensure all applicable federal and local laws, ministerial orders, and HSE permits/NOCs are maintained and followed

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the HSE domain
• ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification
• NEBOSH IGC certification
• OSHAD (ADOSH) Safety Practitioner certification
• Proven experience in high-rise building construction (Oil & Gas experience is not accepted)
• Previous experience working as a Supervision Consultant or within a PMC HSE role
• Relevant higher education (Master's, Bachelor's, or NEBOSH Diploma) as specified by experience levels
