About the role
Responsibilities
- Support leaders and employees to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Assist with injury prevention and management
- Deliver and coordinate HSE training
- Develop and maintain risk assessments
- Monitor hazards, near misses, and incidents
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure safety systems and records are accurate and compliant
- Collaborate with the national HSE team
- Champion HSE applications including Safety Culture, Hazard Reporting, and Incident Reporting apps
Requirements
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an established HSE role
- Proven experience in incident investigations, risk assessments, and auditing
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel regularly to sites across Perth, Kalgoorlie, and Adelaide
- Strong numeracy and organizational skills
