Responsibilities

• Consult with People Leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide performance management guidance including coaching and career development
• Work with Senior Leaders to improve work relationships, morale, and retention
• Provide guidance on department restructures, talent planning, and calibration
• Identify training needs for business units and individual People Leader coaching

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• 3+ years in a dedicated HRBP role, ideally in consumer, retail, or DTC
• Proven ability to operate as a standalone HR function
• Deep employee relations expertise and investigation experience
• Experience partnering with senior and executive leadership on org design
• Strong command of California employment law and HR compliance
• Experience supporting both corporate and hourly/retail workforces
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to travel 10-30% annually

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
