About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the strategic workforce planning (SWP) framework to align skill needs with business priorities and budget projections.
- Drive organizational design initiatives by developing frameworks to align structures, roles, and capabilities with strategic priorities.
- Govern the WBG Job Architecture, ensuring consistent job titles, role definitions, and structured job analysis to identify automation and process simplification opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate skills frameworks and digital enablement into talent architecture processes.
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with business leaders, HR colleagues, and key stakeholders to ensure initiatives are responsive to emerging trends.
- Engage with external peer organizations to stay abreast of best practices in talent architecture and organizational design.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development/Behavior, or a related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven expertise in leading strategic workforce planning initiatives, including skill gap analysis and talent action planning.
- Experience in organizational design, including framework development and job architecture governance.
- Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence adoption of new frameworks.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to senior management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to design thinking or human-centered approaches in developing HR solutions.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools or the ability to quickly learn and apply them.
- Knowledge of data governance and ethical considerations related to talent data.
