Senior HR/LR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in contract negotiations with multiple local unions to align with company objectives
• Manage and administer the grievance process, including conducting investigations and representing the company in hearings
• Oversee discipline and attendance processes for union employees in compliance with collective bargaining agreements
• Conduct comprehensive workplace investigations into employee grievances and sensitive disciplinary matters
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with union representatives to promote a constructive labor environment
• Provide expert guidance to management on HR policy, contract interpretation, and legal compliance
• Analyze HR and labor relations data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions
• Develop and deliver training programs for managers and supervisors

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a focus on Labor Relations
• Extensive experience within a large, unionized manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations and strategy development
• In-depth knowledge of grievance procedural processes, including arbitration and mediation
• Proven ability to conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
