Senior HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Operate as a product manager for the employee experience, designing and maintaining AI-powered workflows and agents across the employee lifecycle.
• Architect foundational talent systems for Engineering and Data, including career ladders, promotion criteria, and technical/behavioral expectations.
• Drive end-to-end compensation planning, including merit, equity refreshes, and promotion increases, while coaching managers through performance cycles.
• Build automated dashboards and predictive analytics to enable evidence-based decisions on engagement, retention risk, and high-potential identification.
• Manage employee relations for Engineering and Data populations, including investigations, performance management, and sensitive transitions.
• Partner with Recruiting on workforce planning, role architecture, and leveling for senior technical roles.
• Support IPO readiness workstreams, including workforce compliance and equity education.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HRBP in a venture-backed tech company.
• Deep experience partnering with technical functions such as Engineering, Data, or Product.
• A product mindset with experience managing backlogs and iterating on tools or agents.
• An AI-forward approach to automating HR workflows and processes.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with hands-on experience in HR analytics tooling.
• Fluency in technical compensation and engineering leveling frameworks (IC ladders, management tracks).
• Proven experience partnering with senior technical leadership (CTO, VPE, Directors) as a trusted advisor.

• US salary range: $170,000 – $210,000 base + equity.
