Senior HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, including performance concerns, investigations, and complex workplace scenarios
• Coach managers through difficult conversations, feedback delivery, and performance management documentation
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on people-related risks, decisions, and organizational change
• Support ongoing performance management processes, goal-setting, and manager capability building
• Partner with People Ops, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliance with employment laws and support leave administration
• Manage immigration matters by partnering with recruiters and external law firms to support visa needs and sponsorship

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner role
• Deep expertise in employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching
• Proven ability to ramp up quickly in a new environment and maintain continuity with minimal handoff
• Strong business judgment and the ability to guide leaders through complex trade-offs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of discretion
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote-first, and evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting distributed, remote-first teams
• Prior work in a fast-growing startup or high-growth tech environment
• Previous experience in contract or interim HR roles
