Responsibilities

  • Design and run performance review cycles, leveling, calibrations, and development frameworks
  • Coach managers through feedback, performance issues, and team-building
  • Investigate, advise on, and resolve sensitive employee relations matters
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, role definition, and interview design
  • Own salary bands, leveling architecture, and the annual compensation cycle
  • Partner with leadership on team structure, succession, and growth planning
  • Own engagement strategy, including surveys and stay interviews
  • Ensure employment compliance across the global footprint
  • Develop people analytics to bring rigor to headcount, retention, and performance decisions
  • Design the company's learning and development framework
  • Direct the HR Coordinator to ensure operational excellence

Requirements

  • 5–9+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 3+ years as a business partner to senior leaders
  • Experience scaling People functions in growth-stage companies
  • Experience with compensation, leveling, and salary bands
  • Experience managing or directing junior team members or contractors
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, Google Suite, and Notion
  • Ability to work in-office in New York City 3 days per week
