About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive employee engagement through Voice of the Associate programs, roundtables, and GEMBA walks to strengthen leadership-employee relationships.
  • Partner with site leadership and General Managers to balance operational requirements with Amazon's values and people strategy.
  • Lead operational excellence by conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing PXT processes.
  • Utilize data analytics and AI tools to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Coach business leaders on effective people management, including performance feedback, team development, and complex employee relations.
  • Support organizational health through talent assessments, succession planning, and identifying high-potential talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in both English and German.
  • Experience supporting large-scale employee populations in production, retail, distribution, or similar operational environments.
  • Proven ability to use data and sound judgment to support business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with works councils or other employee representative bodies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
  • Extensive experience in a strategic HR role within operations, customer service, or retail.
  • Experience coaching senior leaders and managing sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools and HR technology to improve service delivery and process efficiency.
