About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive employee engagement through Voice of the Associate programs, roundtables, and GEMBA walks to strengthen leadership-employee relationships.
- Partner with site leadership and General Managers to balance operational requirements with Amazon's values and people strategy.
- Lead operational excellence by conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing PXT processes.
- Utilize data analytics and AI tools to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Coach business leaders on effective people management, including performance feedback, team development, and complex employee relations.
- Support organizational health through talent assessments, succession planning, and identifying high-potential talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in both English and German.
- Experience supporting large-scale employee populations in production, retail, distribution, or similar operational environments.
- Proven ability to use data and sound judgment to support business decisions.
- Strong knowledge of labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience collaborating with works councils or other employee representative bodies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
- Extensive experience in a strategic HR role within operations, customer service, or retail.
- Experience coaching senior leaders and managing sensitive employee relations issues.
- Proficiency in using AI-powered tools and HR technology to improve service delivery and process efficiency.
