Senior HIL Engineer

Responsibilities

• Qualify system features based on requirements and potential vehicle use case scenarios
• Increase testing efficiency through automation and front-loading of tests
• Improve testing robustness by analyzing defects, conducting stress tests, and incorporating lessons learned
• Comply with processes, deliver according to plan, and support the analysis of problem reports
• Increase simulation-based testing by identifying necessary model or hardware changes and interfacing with model teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Control systems
• 2 to 8 years of automotive system testing experience using Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) setups
• Experience with automotive communication protocols, Diagnostics, and associated tools
• Proficiency in using modern requirement, test management, and problem reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in test automation and related scripting and tools
