Senior Healthcare Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care, support, and companionship to residents to ensure they enjoy each day
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including food and drink support
• Follow individual care plans to ensure person-centered care expectations are met
• Provide leadership and guidance to the healthcare assistant team
• Maintain a warm-hearted and compassionate environment for all residents

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a care setting
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Proven experience caring for older people
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do approach
• Ability to work flexible hours (day and night shifts available)

Preferred Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
• Currently working towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification
