Senior Health Economist

Responsibilities

• Develop economic models to inform decisions on the efficient allocation of healthcare resources
• Communicate insights to a variety of stakeholders
• Provide strategic advice to clients from model conceptualization through to interpretation of results
• Ensure high-quality project delivery and quality control
• Train and provide constructive feedback to Health Economists
• Contribute to business development by maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunities
• Mentor Health Economist Interns

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in economic and mathematical modelling within an industry setting
• Experience working on health economic projects directly with clients from initiation to completion
• Experience leading project teams and managing timelines across multiple projects
• Proven ability to build and maintain sustainable client relationships
• Degree level or higher qualification in a technical discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or Computer Science) with minimum 3.3 GPA
• Advanced skills in Excel and VBA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate training in statistics or health economic modelling
• Experience mentoring others
• Proficiency in R, C++, or STATA
