About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute complex harness builds with minimal guidance and high attention to detail
- Lead floor training sessions and mentor Apprentice and Harnessing Technicians
- Partner with Engineering on new product introduction and first article builds
- Identify, escalate, and help solve build and design issues
- Support updates to build documentation based on production feedback
- Champion 5S principles, safety, and quality initiatives
- Support ad-hoc projects to boost output and ensure harness builds are delivered quickly and efficiently
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- 5–12 years of experience in harness manufacturing or related production environments
- Expert at reading complex schematics and executing high-quality builds
- Experience mentoring junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
