Senior Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the test automation strategy and overarching infrastructure using Python or Teststand
• Design and execute environmental, reliability, verification, and validation tests (HALT, UV, thermal cycling, ingress, etc.)
• Design and build bespoke test rigs, fixtures, and automation to increase testing repeatability
• Maintain and integrate environmental chambers, DAQ systems, and RF systems into the automation infrastructure
• Deliver decision-grade data and clear pass/fail evidence to engineering leadership
• Partner with Reliability, Hardware Design, Firmware, and Production teams to embed quality early in the development cycle

Requirements

• Significant experience in hardware test engineering or validation in high-reliability environments (IoT, automotive, aerospace, or robotics)
• Strong experience building scalable and automated test infrastructure
• Expertise in environmental testing and accelerated life testing (HALT, UV, Tumble, Impact)
• Proven ability to design and build bespoke test jigs, fixtures, and DAQ systems
• Proficiency in data analysis and automated reporting
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical findings to stakeholders
