Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of top-level reliability requirements, models, and allocations
• Define and drive HALT/HASS strategies, accelerated testing plans, and reliability growth programs
• Establish and evolve reliability modelling frameworks including Weibull analysis and Monte Carlo simulations
• Integrate reliability analyses with program risk management to influence design and manufacturing
• Flow down reliability requirements to subsystems including margins and screening levels
• Lead root cause investigations on critical hardware failures and drive corrective actions
• Collaborate with design, systems, test, and manufacturing teams to optimize for mass production
• Mentor junior engineers on reliability methods and analysis techniques

Requirements

• B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering, materials science, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, hardware testing, or failure analysis
• Experience in space, automotive, semiconductor, or high-reliability industries

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in a related engineering discipline
• Experience with accelerated life testing (ALT) and reliability growth programs
• Experience with thermal, vibration, and TVAC qualification testing
• Experience with EEE components and semiconductor packaging
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for statistical modeling and data analysis
• Knowledge of Physics of Failure (PoF) methodologies
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or new-space environment
