Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hardware executives and engineering leaders
- Own full-cycle recruiting across critical hardware functions including mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify exceptional technical talent
- Partner with hiring teams to define role requirements and interview strategies
- Leverage market intelligence and recruiting data to influence hiring decisions
- Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines for future growth
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience reflecting Zipline’s mission and culture
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Significant experience hiring technical talent in aerospace, robotics, hardware, or manufacturing
- Proven track record recruiting and closing exceptional hardware and engineering talent
- Experience partnering with senior engineering leaders and executives
- Strong understanding of technical talent markets (mechanical, electrical, embedded, robotics, etc.)
- Exceptional sourcing skills for passive candidates
- Strong stakeholder influence and client management skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for robotics, aerospace, or autonomous systems companies
- Experience hiring engineering leaders and highly specialized technical talent
- Familiarity with hardware development lifecycles or manufacturing environments
- Experience scaling technical teams in startup or high-growth environments
