Senior Hardware Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, specifications, and architect test cases to validate audio accessory firmware and logic performance
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Bluetooth TWS (True Wireless Stereo) testing
• Perform hands-on test execution for compatibility, functionality, and performance using audio measurement equipment
• Utilize tools such as audio analyzers, sound level meters, acoustic analyzers, and Bluetooth sniffers for certification and latency validation
• Collaborate with Product Development, Program Management, and Engineering teams to identify design improvements and resolve technical issues
• Interpret electrical and firmware audio specifications to design appropriate testing setups
• Publish clear and concise test reports to support engineering decision-making
• Travel overseas to work with suppliers and audit testing capabilities and quality standards during development and production

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering roles
• Deep expertise in Bluetooth TWS testing and audio measurement validation
• Proficiency with macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (verbal and written)
• Strong understanding of interfaces including USB, Serial, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.0, and digital audio connectors
• Ability to read and interpret hardware/firmware electrical specifications and EE schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with Made for iOS device certification tests
• Experience in test automation
• Familiarity with FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CTQ requirements
