Senior Hardware QA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and execute advanced automated and manual testing strategies for security cameras
• Perform manual testing for the qualification of new cameras and product variants
• Conduct automated and manual tests at contract manufacturers to ensure quality before mass production
• Execute various validation types including energy consumption, photo/video quality, mechanical, water infiltration, and overall robustness
• Participate in the validation of new firmware versions
• Document test results and detected anomalies clearly
• Contribute to risk analysis and provide go/no-go recommendations for manufacturing
• Implement and evolve automated tests using tools such as LabGrid, Pytest, and Katalon
• Support digital QA and production QA activities, including application testing and customer feedback analysis

Requirements

• Significant experience in hardware, electronics, or embedded product quality assurance
• Hands-on experience with manual testing on physical products
• Proven experience in hardware test automation
• Strong understanding of the interactions between hardware, firmware, and product behavior
• Training in electronics or embedded products is an asset
• Experience with IoT, connected products, cameras, or cellular devices is a major asset
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and excellent judgment
