Senior Hardware Applications Engineer, Data Center

Responsibilities

• Perform system design reviews for data center applications to ensure partner designs meet NVIDIA guidelines
• Resolve system integration issues related to thermal, mechanical, electrical, PCIe, and GPU interconnect interfaces
• Drive platform configuration guides for x86 and ARM servers based on High Performance Computing and AI workload requirements
• Conduct installation, configuration, and bring-up of enterprise server hardware
• Work directly with enterprise customers to analyze data, reproduce errors, and resolve or escalate technical issues
• Perform hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analyzers to qualify and validate products
• Create technical collateral including product specifications, hardware design guides, and application notes

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise data center products for x86 or ARM architecture
• Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing enterprise system design and CPU architecture
• Deep understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture, including BMC, security, and out-of-band management
• Proficiency with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analyzers
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments
