About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build integration apps using Integration Gateway to orchestrate bi-directional flows between Guidewire systems and internal/external platforms
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter configurations and integrations
- Implement event-driven patterns using App Events to enable near real-time data publishing
- Expose and consume Cloud APIs (REST/JSON) securely using OAuth2
- Design Batch Processes and Workqueues for high-performance data processing
- Extend the data model and configure UI elements including screen layouts, wizards, and workflows
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop GUnit/JUnit tests
- Provide support for production issues and perform Guidewire software upgrades
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including scrums and sprint planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of Guidewire development and integration experience
- MUST hold ACE level certification in Guidewire Cloud Integration
- Proficiency in Java and GOSU
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud technologies (Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud APIs)
- Strong understanding of API security, OAuth2, and JSON processing
- Knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL
- Experience with event-driven architectures, webhooks, and AWS services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Guidewire product designer, rating, forms, disbursements, invoicing, and commission concepts
