Senior GSOC Operator

Responsibilities

• Support the GSOC in managing operations, security procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Ensure consistency among Operators regarding employee communications, travel safety, and security systems monitoring.
• Manage information flow and prioritize competing requests sent to the GSOC team.
• Provide guidance and editorial oversight for products developed by GSOC Operators.
• Act as a point of escalation for security incidents requiring immediate decision-making.
• Assist in onboarding and training new Operators to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder engagement during emergency and crisis situations.
• Conduct audits of security systems and procedures to identify and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as International Relations, Security, Political Science, or Journalism.
• 3-5 years of experience in government, corporate security, or a similar professional role.
• 1+ year of experience in a senior GSOC role, including reviewing and editing team work products.
• Superior writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of CCTV and alarm technology.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills.
