Senior Group Manager - Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage large teams and hold accountability for engagement delivery within the Banking and Financial Services sector
• Oversee end-to-end stakeholder management and drive accurate periodic reporting and governance
• Ensure all activities are carried out according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain 100% accuracy
• Manage workflow efficiently in a 24/7 operational environment, including weekend work
• Identify and escalate operational risks, suggesting and implementing mitigating actions and controls
• Provide technical and soft skill training to staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Maintain detailed knowledge and oversight of PEP Screening, KYC, AML, Sanctions, and Fraud Investigations

Requirements

• 10-14 years of experience in Financial Crimes, CDD, EDD, or related Due Diligence and Investigations
• Proven experience managing large teams within a 24/7 operations environment
• Deep expertise in Financial Crime compliance, including PEP Screening, Negative News Screening, KYC, and AML
• Experience working directly with Banking and Financial Services clients
• Post Graduate degree
• Strong fundamental understanding of MS Office tools and reporting capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• ACAMS, CFCS, ICA, or CFE certification
• Specialized knowledge in Sanctions, SOF, and Fraud Investigations
