Senior Group Manager - Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage large teams and hold accountability for engagement delivery within the Banking and Financial Services sector
• Oversee end-to-end stakeholder management and drive accurate periodic reporting and governance
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations, guidelines, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Manage daily workflows to increase operational quality and efficiency through continuous improvement suggestions
• Identify and escalate operational risks while implementing mitigating actions and controls
• Oversee 24/7 operations, ensuring all volumes and quality targets are met consistently
• Support staff development through technical and soft skill training and job rotation planning

Requirements

• 10-14 years of experience in Financial Crimes, including CDD, EDD, and AML
• Deep expertise in PEP screening, Negative News screening, KYC, SOF, and Sanctions
• Proven experience managing large teams within a 24/7 operational environment
• Post Graduate degree
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and reporting
• Strong understanding of Financial Crime policies and banking terminologies

Preferred Qualifications

• ACAMS, CFCS, ICA, or CFE certifications
• Experience in Fraud Investigations and Transaction Monitoring (TM)
