Senior Group Manager - Operations - RTR

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to complex F&A processes, including R2R, Banking Operations, FP&A, and Group Reporting.
• Lead end-to-end operations across multiple towers, ensuring 100% adherence to client SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives (RPA, AI/ML).
• Serve as the primary senior interface for executive-level client stakeholders, including CFO-level counterparts.
• Manage the vertical as an independent business unit, owning P&L, growth, cost optimization, and resource planning.
• Oversee the development and enforcement of robust Risk & Controls frameworks, ensuring compliance with SOX and statutory requirements.
• Lead large, diverse teams with a focus on capability development, coaching, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CA/CMA/CPA) or Post Graduate in Finance.
• 15+ years of experience in F&A Operations.
• 5–7 years of experience in leadership roles managing large financial operations teams.
• Proven expertise in R2R, Treasury, Banking operations, and Risk & Controls.
• Hands-on experience with leading ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or MS Dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience in driving transformation and process re-engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within Financial Services or global shared services environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing vertical P&L.
