Senior Group Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Control Team responsible for preparation of accurate Month End Reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries
• Ensure accuracy of the preparation of detailed balance sheet analyses and accompanying MI
• Provide required information to internal and external auditors
• Manage end to end accounting for the Group’s interest rate swap portfolio
• Maintain and ensure compliance with the Group Financial Control Framework
• Manage team development and provide accounting advice or technical accounting papers
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee accounting for Special Purpose Debt Vehicles and IFRS 9 expected credit loss processes
• Scrutinize processes to ensure maximisation of efficiencies and controls

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
• Extensive technical accounting experience
• Experience communicating and influencing senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of GL accounting systems, cashbook, and purchase ledger systems
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
