Senior Group Accountant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the finance departments of international subsidiaries
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements
• Participate in projects to shape the future of system-supported group accounting
• Support subsidiaries in the preparation of HBII financial statements
• Perform consolidation steps for the group financial statements
• Comment on business developments and assist in external reporting
• Collect and analyze financial data

Requirements

• Vocational training as an industrial clerk with additional specialization (e.g., certified accountant) or a degree in accounting, finance, or controlling
• Proficient knowledge of HGB and initial knowledge of US-GAAP
• Several years of practical experience in finance or controlling
• Ideally experience with SAP FI, SEM BCS, and SAP BW
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and assertiveness skills
• High level of self-motivation, independence, and teamwork
• Good English language skills
