Senior GPU Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and develop Vulkan graphics extensions for current and next-generation GPUs
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing
• Collaborate closely with hardware design teams to enable and optimize Vulkan functionality
• Perform performance analysis and driver optimizations to maximize graphics IP efficiency
• Support customers and industry partners in bringing new products to market
• Represent the PowerVR team in Khronos Group activities and industry discussion groups

Requirements

• Excellent low-level C programming skills
• In-depth knowledge of Vulkan and modern 3D graphics
• Background in GPU driver design and development
• Strong understanding of computer architecture (CPU, Cache, MMU, Memory, etc.)
• Ability to communicate and summarize complex technical topics clearly
• Experience working in a dynamic Scrum agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing high-quality C code following industry best practices
• Strong aptitude for vector mathematics
