Responsibilities

• Own commercial relationships with existing mechanical fabricated parts suppliers
• Identify and qualify new suppliers and parts in conjunction with Engineering
• Manage cost negotiations, continuity of supply, and risk management for mechanical fabricated parts
• Drive operational and cost efficiencies through process or design changes
• Conduct routine business reviews to address supplier performance indicators like First Pass Yield and On-Time delivery
• Forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competitive forces within the mechanical fabricated parts landscape
• Perform supplier financial research and spend analysis for strategic procurement
• Collaborate across Engineering, Production, Material Planning, and Quality teams to meet business objectives
• Predict and mitigate supply constraints to ensure uninterrupted production

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing for mechanical fabricated parts
• Ability to travel to supplier sites for evaluation, qualification, and audits, including international travel
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering) preferred, or equivalent practical experience
• Must be a US Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or admitted as an asylee/refugee due to US Export Control Regulations
