Senior Global Forwarding Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete shipment lifecycle for global freight, acting as the primary contact for customers.
• Execute and coordinate shipments, including booking approvals, pre-alerts, governmental filings, and delivery.
• Maintain accurate shipment data and documentation within Navisphere to ensure high data integrity.
• Provide complex quotes, track and trace services, and generate necessary shipment documents.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and vendors through timely communication.
• Mentor and coach team members on pricing strategies, industry terminology, and customer SOP requirements.
• Identify and propose process improvements or technology solutions to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Global Forwarding industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in both the local language and English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business.
• Extensive knowledge of international shipping regulations and industry processes.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
