Senior GL Accountant

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of General Ledger activities and month-end closings
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
• Ensure accurate processing and reporting of revenue, costs, accruals, and other financial transactions
• Analyze and resolve financial discrepancies and reporting issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to validate financial information
• Support audits, statutory reporting, tax reporting, and compliance activities
• Support HFM reporting and IFRS-related activities
• Contribute to finance process improvements and ERP optimizations within NetSuite

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Expertise in General Ledger accounting and month-end closing processes
• Knowledge of Belgian GAAP; IFRS exposure is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in working with complex financial data
• Fluency in both Dutch and English
• Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to work autonomously
