Senior GL Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close processes globally in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis for cash, prepaids, accruals, inter-company, and OPEX accounts
• Support external reporting by providing reconciliation and analysis reports for cash flow statements and financial footnotes
• Assist with quarterly, annual, and interim external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Support the Senior Accounting Manager with day-to-day activities including chart of accounts maintenance and intercompany accounting
• Maintain effective internal controls over general ledger accounting records
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accounting information is accurate and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with large data sets and pivot tables
• Strong understanding of internal controls and auditing processes

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• 2+ years of experience in a public company environment
