Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations, analyses, report writing, and contract administration
• Coordinate and perform field programs and prepare technical deliverables, calculations, and drawings
• Oversee geotechnical assignments involving both field and office-based work
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
• Manage project scheduling, scoping, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
• Actively participate in risk management and quality procedures
• Lead by example regarding Health and Safety frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registration in the Province of Manitoba
• Previous experience in a geotechnical engineering role
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to provide a driver's abstract
• Strong technical, analytical, and managerial skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration
