Senior General Ledger Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input general ledger entries, including personnel, warranty, and other provisions
• Analyze and review general ledger accounts, including reconciliation of intercompany balances and accruals
• Perform intercompany matching to ensure plausibility
• Maintain schedules for leases, contracts, and agreements, including year-end audit lease schedules
• Assist in the coordination and maintenance of the general ledger
• Prepare month-end closing bookings, reports, and cashflow forecasts
• Prepare annual reports for auditors according to audit responsibility listings

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the German language
