Senior GenAI Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust container based microservice API architectures on Kubernetes clusters
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable software products supporting security, safety, and privacy of GenAI and LLM-based systems
• Integrate GenAI systems including LLM, VectorDB, RAG pipelines, agents, and guardrails into product features
• Develop state of the art guardrails and systems leveraging agent workflows and tooling
• Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, AI researchers, and security specialists
• Evaluate and integrate open-source tools and third-party platforms

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in backend software engineering
• Strong expertise in GenAI and LLM with a focus on scaling solutions
• Expertise in GenAI workflows including RAG and prompt engineering
• Experience with cloud solutions using APIs, containers, and microservice architectures (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
• Experience with authentication and authorization (cloud IAM, SSO, JWT, oAuth)
• Strong Python skills and experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Ability to build and manage complex, distributed systems
