About the role
Responsibilities
- Create first-person animations following visual language and game design constraints
- Produce high-quality keyframe animations based on video references
- Process and enhance motion capture data for animation systems
- Fine-tune animation data with high precision for game engine integration
- Export and integrate animations in collaboration with technical directors and programmers
- Test, review, and iterate on animation systems directly in-game
- Take ownership of the final in-game feel of the work
Requirements
- Strong experience in gameplay animation for video games
- Proven experience in 3C animation and first-person animation systems (FPS)
- Expertise in motion capture data processing
- Solid understanding of technical constraints related to game engine integration
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Portfolio showcasing best animation work, including first-person examples
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with MotionBuilder
- Experience working on a shipped AAA title
