Senior Functional Analyst – Finacle Core Banking

Responsibilities

• Review and validate end-to-end financial workflows within the Finacle Core Banking system to ensure alignment with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
• Prepare, document, and execute functional test cases covering General Ledger (GL) postings, account reconciliation, and period-end closing.
• Verify the accuracy of accounting entries for banking products including Loans, Deposits, Payments, and Cards.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as a key Finance function representative and provide formal sign-off on critical scenarios.
• Work with the migration programme team to review functional design documents and system configurations from a finance perspective.
• Identify and log functional gaps or accounting discrepancies and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of regulatory reports, management accounts, and statutory statements generated from Finacle.
• Support parallel-run activities by comparing legacy system outputs against Finacle to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Finacle Core Banking systems.
• Proven experience in financial workflow validation and functional test case execution.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) mechanics and banking accounting principles.
• Extensive experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within a banking environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking products such as Loans, Deposits, and Payments.
• Ability to join within a timeframe of 2 weeks to 1 month.
