Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable fullstack solutions that integrate with enterprise EHR systems
• Build and maintain healthcare data integrations leveraging FHIR and HL7 v2 messaging
• Develop identity resolution and patient matching capabilities using MRNs and NPIs
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Product, and Health Information Management teams
• Collaborate with external vendors like Epic Technical Services to troubleshoot integration issues

Requirements

• 6+ years of fullstack software engineering experience
• Proficiency in healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7 v2)
• Experience with national health information exchange frameworks (TEFCA, QHINs, or Carequality)
• Practical experience integrating with enterprise EHR systems, ideally Epic
• Knowledge of high-assurance identity standards and regulated healthcare security requirements
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing secure API authentication and service accounts
• Experience promoting software across tiered clinical environments (TST/PRD)
• Familiarity with biometric validation and document verification workflows
