Senior Fullstack Engineer

Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, providing a platform that spans the full care journey from Ambient AI to autonomous RCM processing. The company supports over 500,000 clinicians and handles billions in annual claims.

Responsibilities

• Tackle technical challenges in building efficient, scalable software and delivering quality features
• Lead the design, development, deployment, and iteration of complex features
• Enhance and evolve the product architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement maintainable solutions for customer pain points
• Promote best practices, supportability, and code quality through mentoring and leading by example
• Stay current with emerging industry trends to inform leadership and product teams

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• Experience shipping enterprise-grade software products
• Experience leading complex projects through multiple release cycles
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js (Express)
• Experience with LLM applications and RAG tooling (Gemini, GPT, VectorDB, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate with Product Management to scope and drive deliverables
• Advanced understanding of DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Experience with security tooling in SDLC and Security by Design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with speech and dialog technologies (ASR, TTS, telephony)
• Experience with event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka, BullMQ)
• Experience with ML and AI training frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with Node.js build systems (rush, nx, vite)
• Experience in health tech or working at a startup
