Senior Fullstack Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for various HelloFresh markets and brands to deliver optimal customer and internal user experiences
• Take full ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of your solutions using DevOps practices and pair programming
• Collaborate within autonomous, cross-functional agile teams including Product Owners, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams
• Deliver end-to-end features, managing the entire lifecycle from initial implementation through to deployment and monitoring
• Act as a technical ambassador by implementing industry best practices and providing mentorship to colleagues

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in agile software development
• 2+ years of experience with React JS or a similar JavaScript framework (e.g., Angular, VueJS)
• Hands-on experience with continuous delivery and deploying to customer-facing applications
• Proficiency in server-side technologies such as Next.js, Nest.js, Nuxt.js, or Remix
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and the ability to design service contracts and API endpoints
• Proficiency in GraphQL and working knowledge of SQL for data exploration
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Sentry, or Honeycomb
• Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing methodologies (e.g., TDD, BDD)
• Practical experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as thought partners in the development process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile app development (React Native or native iOS/Android)
• Working knowledge of backend languages such as Node.js, Python, or GoLang
• Familiarity with building and maintaining storefronts within the Shopify ecosystem
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experimentation
