Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Vivodyne creates human data before clinical trials. We accelerate the successful discovery, design, and development of human therapeutics by testing on large, lab-grown human organ tissues at massive scale, driving technological advancement at the convergence of novel biology, robotics, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build complex React/TypeScript interfaces for scientific workflow applications
• Own backend integration points via API design and data layer work in Postgres
• Create clean, responsive, and user-focused interfaces that translate complex requirements into intuitive designs
• Write well-tested, maintainable code with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
• Work closely with scientists, engineers, and AI researchers to gather requirements
• Leverage leading language models and agentic tools to ship reliable code quickly

Requirements

• 5+ years building complex React applications with sophisticated state management
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture
• Strong CSS/styling architectural skills (CSS modules, Tailwind etc.)
• Proficiency in API design, schema definition, and query optimization with Postgres
• Working knowledge of Python (e.g. Pydantic, FastAPI)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of TanStack ecosystem
• Experience developing applications that render and annotate imagery
• Experience in high-throughput laboratory automation or robotics
